Beautiful 'Phaeton' silk scarf by Philippe Ledoux, originally issued in 1958. Main colors are orange a and white. It has re-issued many times in different colours, formats and variations of. The Phaeton, named after the son of Helios (Apollo in Roman mythology), is a sporty open carriage that was very popular in the late 18th century in France and England. Near the base has 'Hermes Paris' script on the right and Ledoux signature in the center. No composition tag.
