Designed in 2001 by Tom Ford for Yves Saint-Laurent, the MOMBASA Bag was mentioned on the Wall Street Journal like a 'case-history' of successful business. It features a horn handle, obtained from a deer horn; every horn is different for depth and color, so made it a unique piece. This model is crafted in beige leather with aged silver metal hardware. The front and back of the bag has stitched panels. Magnetic button closure on top and suede lining. Inside it has 1 side zip pocket. 'Yves Saint Laurent - Rive Gauche' tag inside (with serial number 'and 'Made in Italy' engraved on its reverse)
